Questions and answers
What is Secret Santa?
Everyone in the group is secretly given one other person to buy a gift for, within a budget. On the day, you exchange gifts and guess who your Secret Santa was.
Does it cost anything?
It's free for up to 10 people. Bigger groups pay once when names are drawn, from 99 kr / €9.99 for up to 25 people.
Do people need an app or an account?
No. Guests join from a link with their name and email or phone number. Only the organiser signs in, so the event is saved.
Can I stop couples drawing each other?
Yes. Before you draw, pick any pairs who shouldn't get each other. We'll make sure it works out.
What if someone joins after the draw?
They can still join with the same link. We fit them in, and only the one person whose match changes gets a new message.
Can the organiser see who got whom?
No. Nobody can see the full list, including the organiser and us.
Which countries can get text messages?
The Nordic countries, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, the US and Canada. Everyone else can use email. Texts are for groups of 11 or more; smaller groups, which are free, use email.
